IN HALF THE TIME
Boat Detailing Indianapolis, IN
In North Indianapolis, we have a couple of big reservoirs around, and there are plenty of communities that live around those reservoirs that do take part on those bodies of water. People spend a lot of time working during the week, and they work hard. Because of that, they want to spend the maximum amount of time out enjoying themselves. Their ability to keep up with their boats or how it looks or how it performs, is and should be minimal. They don’t have a lot of time, so with Ceramic Pro Marine, just like the automotive side of it, they’re able to reach a look on their boat or a level of cleanliness unachievable by other products in a very small amount of time. Ceramic Pro Marine reduces or prevents oxidation with minimal effort from the boat owner.

With boats that sit in this low-water movement bodies of water, these reservoirs that are spring fed or that aren’t fed by a river, where the water is just very stagnant, you have this algae growth on the bottom of the boat that happens very, very quickly. In the past you would typically have to do an acid wash with muratic acid which is very harmful to the environment. They spray that acid onto the boat, let it eat the algae from the boat, and then just scrub it off, which usually requires you to do some sanding and buffing afterwards as well. But with this Ceramic Pro Marine, you no longer have to worry about that. Even the worst amount of algae, you’re just going to spray it off with a pressure washer. No more acid washes, which does wonders for preserving your boat over time.

Boats sit a lot and they fade over time. If you don’t keep them waxed, or even if you do keep them waxed, water is constantly trying to remove that wax off of the surface of the boat because water is an abrasion. They use water to cut countertops and to power wash your driveway and things like that, so water is very abrasive and constantly stripping the wax off the boat. With ceramic coating though, it’s a permanent solution. Once it’s applied to the boat, the abrasion from the water is not taking off any of the gel coat. So you have this permanent protection on there that also helps to increase the gloss and reflection in the boat. It’s chemically resistant. It has UV protection built into it as well. It’s going to greatly reduce the corrosion and oxidation that you have. New boats, like in our area, we’re really pontoons and wake board boats, and some fishing boats. We’re not big boats. They’re all under 25 feet. Our resale market is pretty high, so the better you can keep your boat for longer, the more you’re going to get out of it in the end, both in terms of enjoyment and in terms of financial investment. Once you shop for boats, you realize how expensive they are. A pontoon can be $60,000 and the wake board boats, you’re spending $150,000 on wakeboard boats. So for many of our customers, the price to keep it looking clean, for the amount of effort is an amazing trade-off. Instead of having to pay someone to clean their boat, all they have to do is rinse their boat down when they bring it and put it on the lift, then walk away from it. That’s amazing.
